Do I Actually Need This (CNIC Translation Urdu to English)?
If someone has told you to bring your CNIC “translated” or “in English,” it almost always means they want exactly what’s on this page — an official English copy of your Urdu CNIC, stamped by a Notary Public so it’s legally recognized.
What’s Included
Accurate Translation
Every detail on your CNIC — your name, address, date of birth, and every other field — is translated carefully from Urdu into English, matching exactly what’s printed on your card.
Certified Translation
Your translation is prepared by an experienced professional and comes certified, so it’s recognized by government offices, embassies, and consulates.
Notary Public Attestation
Once translated, the document is stamped and signed by a Notary Public for international use — this is what makes it officially valid and ready to submit anywhere it’s asked for.
How It Works — 3 Simple Steps
Step 1 — Send Us a Clear Scanned PDF file of Your CNIC
Scan your CNIC (both sides) in high resolution for better print quality and send it to us on WhatsApp, or by email. That’s all we need to get started, as it is an Online Translation Service.
Step 2 — We Translate It, You Check It
We prepare the English translation and send it to you to look over before anything is finalized. If a name or detail needs correcting, we fix it at this stage — free of charge.
Step 3 — Notarized and Delivered to You
Once you’re happy with it, our Notary Public stamps and signs it. You’ll get the final copy the same way that’s easiest for you — a scanned copy on WhatsApp/email, or the physical copy in person or by courier (confirm the shipping charges on our official WhatsApp).

What a Finished Translation Actually Looks Like
It’s easier to trust a service when you can see exactly what you’ll receive. Below are two real samples — one for a Smart CNIC and one for the standard CNIC — showing the translation alongside the Notary Public’s stamp and signature and certificate of translation.

CNIC Translation Requirements by Destination Country
Different countries — and different visa categories within the same country — expect slightly different things from a translated document. Here’s what’s generally expected for four of the most common destinations.
United KingdomFor UK visa applications, a document not written in English or Welsh should be accompanied by a complete translation that can be independently verified. The translation should include confirmation of accuracy, the translation date, the translator’s name, signature and contact details.
United StatesDocuments submitted to USCIS in another language must generally be accompanied by a complete English translation. The translator must certify that the translation is complete and accurate and that they are competent to translate the foreign language into English.
CanadaIRCC generally requires supporting documents to be in English or French. Where a translator is not a recognised certified translator, an affidavit from the translator and a certified photocopy of the original may also be required. IRCC does not accept translations completed by certain family members or representatives.
AustraliaAustralian immigration applications generally require English translations of non-English documents. For a translation completed outside Australia, the translator’s name, address, telephone number and language qualifications should be provided.

CNIC Translation — Common Questions
Why do I need my CNIC translated?
Because most documents in Pakistan are printed in Urdu, and many foreign offices — embassies, universities, banks, immigration authorities — only accept documents in English. A certified translation lets them read and verify your CNIC without needing an Urdu speaker on their end.
What does “notarized” actually mean, and why do I need it?
Notarization means a Notary Public — an officially authorized legal officer — has personally reviewed and stamped your translation to confirm it’s accurate and official. Without this stamp, many embassies and institutions won’t accept the translation at all, since anyone could otherwise type up a translation with no way to verify it.
What do I actually need to send you to get started?
Just a clear scanned copy of your CNIC — both sides are needed. You can send it on WhatsApp, or by email. We do not offer in-person translation services; we take translation orders online only.
How long does it take to get my translated CNIC back?
Typically one business day. If you’re in a hurry, ask us about rush service when you send your CNIC and we’ll let you know if it’s possible for your situation.
Can I get the document without visiting your office?
Yes. The entire process can be done online — you send us a scanned copy of your CNIC, we send back the translation for your review, and once approved, we deliver the final notarized copy by courier or as a scanned copy, wherever you are.
Will my translated CNIC be accepted outside Pakistan?
Yes. Our certified, notarized translations are prepared to a standard that’s recognized by embassies, consulates, and institutions internationally — this is the same document format used for visa and immigration applications.
What if there’s a mistake in my translation?
You’ll always get a chance to review the translation before it’s notarized. If anything needs correcting — a spelling, an address detail — we fix it at that stage at no extra cost.
How much does it cost, and is anything added later?
The fee is a flat Rs. 2,000, which already includes the Notary Public attestation and certificate of translation. There are no hidden or additional charges added afterward except shipping costs if requested.
